Replacement Center Console
I am redoing the interior on my 88 t/a, and my center console is shot. Instead of buying a new one that is in good shape, I was thinking of doing something alittle different. I have had experience with a custom shop that works with fiberglass and has done alot of work on my...cough...stang...cough..... So I was talking o the people at the shop and he said he would give me a break on some fiberglass work. So I was thinking of doing a molded fiberglass center console instead of a stocker. What do you guys think of this idea? It wouldnt be anything to tacky, just something plain and nice looking. What do you guys think? thanks
I don't know where you are, but I just recently bought upper AND lower center consoles (including the console lid) from a local dealer here in MO. You also might check Hawk's to see if you can get a better price.
