Bad Ebay GFX's HELP!

I just bought some 91-92 camaro GFX's for my 88 IROC. I got 6 pieces, 2 rocker panels, 2 door skirts and the 2 small pieces for the back end. The only problem with the GFX's are the freakin rocker panels! He told me there was a slight crack on the left side, but failed to tell me that the same rocker panel had had all of its hangers riped off! How am I suppose to hang this now? Or should I just go to Hawks and buy a new one!?
Help!

That sucks. Have you tried telling the guy about it? You should still be ok though. The brackets for each end and the screws from the top will be enough to secure it in place.

Try using what you have and if you cant make it work try the junkyard. Man I was just there today and saw a decent set off a 91 camaro. I didnt need them so I didnt get them. Also I would contact the person from ebay and let them know about it. Maybe they can refund some of your money.

I wish I would have known that before I went to the bone yard I could have pulled what you needed. The nexxt time I go I will see if its still there and let you know. Also I would leave negative feedback for the guy if he doesnt respond. Its a shame people have to rip people off like that.

why not just re do the mounts with some fiberglass reapir kit from bondo. i did some repairs on mine with that stuff and it is rock hard when done. it comes with the resins and fiberglass material i would just mix some up and cut the tape to fold over the entire tab and when it hardens drill a hole in it. should work without a problem.

When I installed '91-92 aerodyamics on my '87 I had to fabricate a metal piece to fit inside the body and hold the studs on the rear of the long pieces on each side of the body.

to mount the gfx where there are no tabs is not hard however, to get it just right, can be time consuming, depending on your level of fabrication experience. flush mount bolts, custom brackets that bolts to the gfx and screw to the original holes in the body, i have done this before many times, and it works, and is not visible. I do like stainless steel for the bolts and if possible, the steel, as there is no welding involved. The brackets can be any shape you like as long as they are all the same, and look good if need be. hope this helps someone!

Oh and, does anyone know what the heck holds the back part of the 88's on!? We couldnt figure what was keeping it in place after we took out every bolt we cold find

the piece that is on the quarter panel before the bumper is held in from the inside if you take out the rear plastic you should be able to get to the bolts.
