Old jute padding removal?
How did you guys get rid of your old jute padding from under the carpet? I'm replacing mine and this stuff is glued to the floorpan and doesn't come up very well.

It should only be stuck to the floor pans in a few places where the drain panels are located. This is because the drain panels were sealed at the factory and over the years the sealant has become rather sticky and stuck to the jute. Just pull the old stuff out and clean around the panels. I took mine out and cleaned them and then re-installed and sealed again before putting new jute and carpet in. I used the old jute for a template to cut the new jute.
