I had a similiar problem: The bolt is frozen to the sleeve in the a-arm bushing. I resorted to a chisel stated under the bolt head and used a four-pound hammer to beat the head out. When it was out a bit, I pounded it back in using WD-40 liberally I repeated this several times before it came completely free. FYI, I used anti-sieze on the bolts when I put new ones back in.

My experience with the C-clamp was also a disaster.

I had that problem and used a air hammer. If you dont have air i would just cut it out with a saw zaw or somethin.

i was thinking about a air hammer but the garage im in doesnt have air the garage i usually work in does though. how would i cut it with a sawzall? I have a mini sledge i was gonna try today but i dont think theres room to swing it. so i'll probably end up with the chisel idea

Well if i was gonna use the saw zaw i would just cut through the bushing on both sides near the control arm.
