Removing Kick Panel

I can replace an engine, assemble a child's play set, program a VCR but I CANNOT determine how to remove the kick panel from my 91! I am referring to the small carpeted piece under dash. I could just tear it up but that is not my goal. I could not find this through the "search" here or in the manual. HELP!! Thanks.

I think there are two screws holding on the kick panel on the drivers side. The first also holds on the level you pull to pop the hood. Feel around the carpeted area around the center of the kick panel and see can you locate the Phillips head screw. It can be difficult to find it as the carpet can cover over the screws especially if the panel has never been removed before. There may also be one where the kick panel joins the floor panel (plastic panel on the door sill you see when you open the car door)
If it's the passenger side kick panel you want to remove there are two screws on the carpeted area.

Hope this helps.

Kick Panel

Hey thanks! There are 2 screws on pass side and one on driver side. All were very well concealed by the "carpet". I pretty much had to force the screwdriver through it to make contact.

Odd. I have three on my 92 TA passenger side. Two in the spots I'm used to (low under the door, and dead center) but also had one up top almost under the lower dash plastic. Almost broke the damn thing before I found the third one..
