? for those with side vents

do you have to vents just for looks or does it help get rid of under hood heat? dont get me wrong i love how it looks on you guys cars i might do one but ive never seen it done to a bird. does it only cut into the quarter panel or does it cut into the strut tower. and ive been thinking of using vents from an 88 vette think that would look good? ~ Nick

IMO i would not put vette or anything else parts on a firebird

or try to make it something that its not

the vents just sit in the fenders, the firewall air box area is not cut to allow them clearance they are not very thick,

remove one some time and youll see.,,

82-84 ones are not same as 85-up

compare and youll see what changed in 85

thy dont do anything else cept make a firebird or s/e look like a t/a

hehe
good luck
