Its fiberglas or carbom fiber If you look close the hatch & spoiler are all one piece.

That looks awfully similar to the spoiler on my Saab.

*shrug*... looks like a GTA spoiler molded into the hatch to me.

It doesn't loook good b/c it's not painted, obviously... but it might not look too bad when it's done.

Never seen it. Does remind me of the 4th base/vert spoiler that's molded completely into the body.

What is really interesting is the photo was developed October of 1986.

Looks like there is even another of the same spoiler in the background of the second pic (on the right side, about half of it is visible). But it is not on a hatch.

I thought the only birds with those tail lights that recieved gold firebirds were the GTA'S???? But this car is badged as a T/A with a stripe package??????

EDIT: I just enhanced the photo. It looks like a red bird unless my monitor is starting to puke.....

I think the side would look like the stock 85-90 T/A spoiler, since it looks like all they did was extend the surfaces of the spoiler to make a more solid look....

And to answer your question, no, those are the only 2 pix I think there are of that car since it was done so long ago (when the car was newer) It was pre 1987 since the pix were developed October 1986.
