HELP ME. Ground effects
Hey whats up, this is my first time posting so i hope this all turns out good. Any ways i just got an 86 camaro iroc, and the ground fx on the driver side have some damage in the rear, soooo i need some help here. I'm having some problems getting the fiberglass piece off. I got all the bolts out except for two screws underneath the z28 emblem, so if any one has pulled of there ground effects before and know how to get this stupid emblem off help me out, and asap. I can't drive it without getting this little problem fixed. Thanks a bunch everyone.

well first let me welcome you to the site, now to the ground effects take a razor blade and try to slowly pry it up, odds are your gonna break the damn thing. it has 2 clips holding it on and of all the times i've taken off gfx from junkyard cars i've never managed to get one with the clips still attached

Welcome aboard
To get the emblems off just use 2 small flathead screwdrivers. Slowly pry one end up and just work your way down. Just take your time and you wont break them. I have mastered this with all the junkyard cars

My main thing is that i don't want to hurt my paint or fiberglass anymore than it already is. I gotta ask how rough is it on the paint and everything? Anywas thanks for everything, that was quick too. I apreciate all the good help i've been getting from everyone.
thanks, the new guy....

Just wrap some masking tape around the screwdrivers that way you wont hurt the paint.
