Got my console finally. I know I know...I'm a little late on the bandwagon..

 

is that a 93-97 6-speed console?

LOL sorry man, i screwed up.. How long did it take you to build that center console?

 

lol, its cool man, I found it amusing. I told my gf wow, this guy must Really like it!
Anyways, I bought the shift plate off ebay, and the rest of the console I got out of my gfs old 96. She totaled it, so I didnt think she needed it anymore. The smoked plexi plate took 15 minutes, and I used the light for the gear indicator under the switches so it lights em up. The hard part was trying to decide where to mount the mirror switch. I decided on the side cause I was too lazy to make the wires longer and put it elsewhere.

 

Sweet, Was your GFs 4th gen Camaro or Firebird? I dont know the diff between both consoles. I guess i do like it alot

Its a bit different.
Gf had a 96 Firebird that I stole this out of. I butchered her auto shift plate till I decided it wasnt gonna work, so I got a manual one instead.

 

hey tacreationusa is acutally a really good place to get used center console parts. And stuff like that

 

Parts yeah, They didnt have any whole shift plates when I emailed them though.
