Ghost formula decals

im thinking about painting a 1988 formula copper metallic(like the 2002 gm color) and ghosting in the formula decals on the door and any other decals like 5.0l and so on with a pearl before i clear it, how do you guys think this would look. I really want a clean look so with the ghost decals they will only show at angles.

yeh, should look sweet and achieve the look you're going for. Clean, sleek, and nothing excess. I like it, do it.

in 1988 there was an orange/copper metallic. it is almost identical to one of the GM 2002 orange metallic colors. I have only ever seen one 88 in person, and it was a Formula...

Check out the original color for that year, you might like to go that way...

ghost is always nice, particularly if you nail the exact font, size and location it will be great!
