The guy who owned the car before me had some kind of shedding dog, smelled like a big wet stinkin dog for years, Finally that wore off and the leaking t-tops and weatherstrip caused more of a funky moldy smell, Oddly after sitting for 1.5 years not running with two of those New Car pine tree air freshners that whole time, I cant really describe the smell, its not mold and its not new car, more like some kind of cheap cologne.

Mine was owned by a lady w/ little kids before i got it, and when i went to scrub out some weird stains on the seat, my WHOLE interior smelled like puke. Some Glade carpet sprinkly stuff took care of that. Two years later, and my car still smells like "Midsummer Breeze" Better than kiddy puke

Mine smells like gas. I had a gas leak from the day I bought my camaro. Its now in the shop getting lots of new fuel and brake lines. Does anyone in the milwauke area want to help me smash the knees of the guy who sold me this car. If you live in milwaukee don't buy from ARS automotive this guy Ben there is a real c**kbag. Can't wait to get it home so I can pull out the lovely gas smelling carpet(bad floorpan rot )and put in the flame red stuff.

at the moment my car smells like , black n' milds, exhaust, and frenchfries that end up under my seat... having no backseat allows the fumes to soak through the bottom of the car.

I cant stand a Smelly car!

I cant really stand a Smelly car, although at times mine get to smelling like tranny fluid, exhaust, coolant, and gas. But usually I keep a "new car scent" air freshener in it.

I plan on replacing the carpet and the seats this winter, so hoepfully that will get rid of the bad smells.

mine still smells pretty good, sometimes it smells like gas though. When I got it you could tell that a woman drove it just by the smell (smelled really good). That smell is now fading and it smells more like armorall.

alright.. alright.. theirs a little more behind the story.. I was working on my car at a friends house last weekend, tops down, sunny day. Well this friend has a stray cat that hovers around his area. Its a nice Cat, very friendly, not useful for anything more than staring at it, but its fed by the neighborhood and is just a hood cat essentially. Well, when we took a break, at some point in time, it crawled in the car, and decided to take a nap in the "trunk". We came back, took the car for a spin, and the growl of the engine seemed to distrub it heavily as it woke up and started hissing. Couldn't stop quickly as we were on the freeway and didn't want to toss it out (thats inhumane). We went back to his house, and let the cat out. As a result of his attempts to attack the car, their is cat hair all over the interior. Thats why my car smells like kitty.

Smells like new leather seats. Love it, if only they mateched the cursed beechwood tan interior for color......

I have the prior-owner-wet-dog issue too - whenever I first turn on the A/C it blows stanky dog odor for a few minutes, but it does seem to go away. Never could figure out what it is that holds the friggin dog smell up in the dash...... When the A/C isn't turned on, smells like any other car - with nice leather seats, that is
