I want to get a new steering wheel for my 89 Camaro, but I don't know how to pick the right one.

How do I know which steering wheel will fit my car? I looked thru my Chilton Manual but it doesn't tell me anything about it except how to remove it. Tell me how to choose one please

 

I'm assuming your wanting an aftermarket steering wheel, right? Pretty much any steering wheel will fit your car, as long as the company you get your steering wheel has an adaptor kit for your car. For example, Grant is a company that sells steering wheels and installation kits for 3rd gen Camaros.

And about what kind to get, just ask yourself some questions. What appeals to you the most, 3 spokes, 4 spokes, 5, etc.? How much are you willing to spend? Is there a certain diameter you want? Do you want it chrome, red, blue, etc.? Do you want your steering wheel to match your rims or wheels? Just find a steering wheel that you like and fits what you want and go with it.

 

Don't care about all those colors or anything. I just want an aftermarket steering wheel that is black and that will fit my car.

I usually go to Ebay and look for stuff but the steering wheels dont say if they fit my car they just say it will fit with a hub adaptor but dont tell me which one. Something that looks nice and fits without any problems.

 

I ptu this steering wheel on my buddies 87 Iroc-Z, it was a direct swap. it is out of a 93 Lumina
