Aftermarket glow guages have wiring trouble

Hi guys, I while back I ordered these blue and grey glow guages which I like alot and have been working fine for like a year. Today while driving I went to turn on my lights and I heard a lil pop and my guages didnt come one, not even the stock climate controls and the lil light by the headlight switch. I looked at the fuses and I noticed that the one fuse was blown. It was a 5amp one, I put another one in and it blew. So I put a 10amp in and it was fine. The climate controls came on along with that lil light by the headlight switch. But aftermarket guages don't. I than investigated the lil dimmer that came with the guages and noticed that a wire was disconnected form the dimmer, There is 3 wires total. So I kinda held the wire to where it was previously soitered but and hit the light switch but still no go. I than tried cut the other two wires still connected and hooked all three wires to another switch. But still didn't work. I dont know what else to do, the way the guages were previosly hooked up was. One Red and black wire that I attacted to the stock tan wire running to the headlight switch, this is where I got the power. That wire ran too a blue box that came with the guages. Than a earth ground wire that runs to the blue box which is hooked to a bolt in the dash. Than the wire from the the guages themselves to the blue box. Than three wires going to the dimmer that came with the guages. I am like going nuts on what to do now, is there a way I could just completly not use the aftermarket dimmer to just run the power too the guages so they light up or somethign. It really sucks driving without a dash at night time

try wiggling wires around where the wires attach to the glow guages... that was my problem the first time.. resoder on the wire cause u might not have a good conection.. if all that doesnt work the little amplifier thats inbetween the power line and the guages is blown and u need new guages.. i personally would make my own and get some blue leds to install in front of the guages themselves... thats what i did i covered up my milage and all of the unecessary lights... and it looks custom

i was looking at ur page from ur banner and it looks real good. I'm guessing u just replaced the stock bulbs with the streetglow ones, hey its worth a try if i can't find the replacedments. I'm not sure how it will work for me cause my gauges are mostly dark blue but with white and red and silver.
