The gagues in the 89 Formula i'm buying/have bought (the people selling it are still waiting for the title to come in the mail from the RMV, then i just gotta pay the rest and its mine :-)) dont work, and this is something i want to do...orderd the gagues last night...i know theyre not great, but hey...if your making a hundred bucks a week and stuff, cant get the top of the line AutoMeters if ya'd rather do exhaust and engine stuff than get stronger, more accurate, better looking gagues...i mean after all, its not a race car....i just need to know whats up with the engine and stuff :-)
Anyhow, i plan on cutting a sheet of black plastic (where i'll get it, i dont know...but i'll worry bout that later :-)) to fit where the gagues are and just do a custom panel....
Any ideas for the layout? Any tips for how to hook it all up? Its a carb'd 350 BTW, not fuel injected (if that makes any difference)
Thanks for the help/advice

It is the stock plastic. He just modified it.I am doing pretty much the same thing.I like the way that looks.I have the stock digital dash right now and it just looks to old.Not very reliable either.
