anyone got an exploded view diagram of an 82 83 84 trans am front bumper cover and assembly ?


just wondering before i blindly disassemble mine probably tomorrow, so far it looks like cover is held to bumper with small screws around top and ends and black round clips along bottom, after that i dunno,

oh and what holds the grilles in the bumper cover ?


i am hoping that mine is ok and no cracks or anything, but the air damn is broken on driver side, so i dunno how lucky i will be with the bumper cover,

there is one minor difference i noticed from the illustration to my car and thats hwre bolt 3 is pointed out, on my car the bolts there are studs with nut on them 10mm, at least the top two both sides of car anyways, below that is a bolt like in diagram though



oh, is the front bumper bar metal aluminum or steel on these btw ?


the whole bumper assembly seems heavy for its size, must be steel all and all


some cars they were aluminum like on some of the 80-90 caprice and impalas
