ok i have an 87 trans am with red interior i hate the red interior but i have a 89 camaro unfinish projest car with the black interior so the swap is a logical thing here is my delema that car is for sale it is a nice project car with on 96K on it no body rust and all aroung great project car all the hard to find parts are there i am selling it for $550 i have a guy that is really interested in buying it and i have a few others that want to come look at it but i still want the parts off it

i need the money though here is what i would like to have some feed back on if i take most the pannels, the carpet, and the seat belts out of it could i get even close to what it is worth as a whole by parting it out?????

P.S. it has no engine or trans bumpers have some cracks too but dash is really nice so is console

if you take the interior out your not going to get the 550 out of it your asking at all

you may get close to it parting it out after your done but then your gonna have to wait a while to get all the cash ...

if it were me id sell it whole as it sits and buy a new rug and dye the panels in your car

go get 2 cans of vht epoxycoat paint black, a can of hisolv, 220 sandpaper, and a tack cloth. now do a very light touch with the sandpaper. you just want to loosen the dirt. liberally use the hisolv to clean it off. run the tack cloth over it, then lightly put on 4 coats of the vht. the paint will come out nice, chip/scratch free forever and at no loss to your project sale. i use the vht on plastic vinal and metal
