I paid around $300 shipped for my dash, I'd have paid $160 if I was local.
Console is anywhere from $50-$140.

Anything over $200 and I say turn him down. You could go to the junk yard and get even more for less $. But maybe he'll be reasonable. Just remind him about the f-body connection

for the most part 4th gen dashes are in the plus 200 category, if it's a 98+ dash, i wouldn't be suprised if it was 300 bux easy, as most of the really late model ones cost a tad more. Also, finding one of these @ the yards can be diffiulct as they tend to blow their bags, so if the bags are still there (aka, the dash is still pretty) might be expecting the higher end of htings. I paid 160 bux for a dash at the yard , and 150 bux for a center console. I later got a second dash from a different yard, center console, seats, cluster, and trim for 30 bux.

Yea I see your point. I guess it depends on the junk yard and how often you go there.
