weird rattle while idiling ....
i have a rattle that i can only hear once in a while usually at idle or low RPMS like when i put my car in reverse in a parking lot and such.... i did notice i can hear it when i turn the steering wheel while im parked..... i know for a fact its in the front of my car... but i cant locate it.... is there any heat shields around the steering or near the front of the car any where? its really pissing me off tho lol.. thanx

i used to like corner carving and cut a lot of stunt style donuts to show off. i wouldnt just burn up pumps, i would snap the shafts right off. take off the belt and the pulley would come off in your hand.
all drag now, so no power steering, but it sounded rough right before she would go out. harmonic balancers are known to make a similar racket, but if its spinnning good and strait, you should be ok.
take off the belt and run the engine while its cold..... see if the problem goes away.....
