Worth it?

Alright guys here's the deal. My bro bought a wrecked '02 Z-28 here a while back for the LS1/6-spd for his '67 RS/SS. Anyway, it had a full set of black leather seats. Well he didn't tell me he had them b/c he had intended on using them. Now, he isn't. He said he'd sell me the whole set for $150. The set is in excellent condition. Now the prob, I'm actually trying to sell my car right now, would it be worth the hassle(and the $150) of putting the leather interior in my car to get more bites on selling it, or should I just say to heck with it keep mine the way it is? I figure $150 for a full set a leather interior is a pretty good deal, but I don't know much about interior prices either. Any thoughts on what you guys would do??

depends on the condition of your car.... some cars i will walk away if i see leather interior. what i would do is possible state them as an option when your selling the car. if your seats are in bad shape then by all means do it. i'd rather have good seats then bad seats no matter what color or material.

The interior at the moment is red. But both front seats are faded and the drivers side has a rip on the seat and the back part of it. So it would be an upgrade from that. Plus both have stains on them...ugh. Do you think it would look tacky though with everything else being red? Or would the switch from faded, staind, ripped seats be better no matter what? Thanks for the input!

$150 is a steal for the seats. I think they would be a nice addition to your car if your selling it. I would get them regardless if you put them in your car or not. I will buy them for $200

Well if you don't use them I would like to buy them, but if there is no chance of selling them it all depends on how the seats look like that are in it now. If they are torn to s--t and the rest of the interior is like new then I would say yes put them in the car to sell it, if the seats that are in it now are in great shape, or the whole interior is in bad shape I would keep the 4th gen ones and sell the current ones it has in it. Hope that helps.

Thanks for all the input guys. According to the searches, most people say that the swap for just the seats, isn't too hard, so I think I will do it. I called my bro and told him I'd take them. As soon as I can get a pic of them, I'll post up and let you guys check them out.
