I thought that the 4th gen auto console did not match up with the third gen auto shifter. How did you get around that problem if there was one?

beat the crap out of it

Well the shifter handle didn't match up....so we took a big hammer and moved it enough so that it would fit... Got that trick off this forum It took alot of test fitting to get a good fit....still thinking about in the future about getting the manual shift plate for it.

Also I am not using 4th gen door panels...found some really nice 3rd gen ones that will match the seats great.

We also found a cool solution for what to do with the power window and rear hatch buttons. we put them in the overhead console.
