Now that i got time....

I will be starting on my projects again since my motor is running fine again...

I will be finishing the case in woodshop at school and the ingenious part is they pay for the wood, and coach(my teacher who is also freshman basketball coach) said I could even said I could measure it all out during class so.... this is actually going to turn out nicely guys.

But the headliner might be done tomorrow, I don’t know, I don’t work but I don’t have any money until Thursday. So.... iunno...

The projects will start getting done again though. Just so everyone knows....

And my plans for the rear seat mod have changed; instead of being slanted it will be flat as to add storage to the top of the box. And this is only for the reason when I had my mockup in there made out of 1/8in mdf, my freggin book bag broke the wood pretty much so….. It’ll need to be flat and strong.

But off to get yelled at my ‘rents got to yell at me some more for the grease spots on the driveway and stuff….

a square in the back? That will mess up the body lines real nice...

What you need is plywood, a thin sheet to go at an angle, then cut a frame out for it to go over, then strap the frame down somehow and put the new carpet over it, then round all the corners out really smooth, and make some curves to it.... a big box that resembles a carpetted truck tool box will look like *** man.

I think it'll look a lot better slanted.

i went back to modify an old picture of yours, in the blue is the frame shape, the red is what you had done, but I modified it a little bit so it went to the B-pillars by the door so it'd sit more flush.

I just don't understand. I reread that post a few times.. trying to figure out what the post was about other than the fact that you are home and you plan on working on projects... ?

I figure maybe the 1/8" MDF comment was decent, but it should have been common sense that it would bend/break if you breath on it wrong...muchless put a bookbag on it.

So maybe a comment on the being squared off part? It would follow the lines of the car much better at an angle like shown in the post above mine. If you want more space, then you should follow the angle of your seats and get it as close as possible to the back of the seats.
