the sub frame is cracked?

ok go out and buy yourself a new camaro. its a wasted project. trying to repair the subframes on these cars is pointless.

best thing you could do is to strip the car completly, and move everything to a rolling chassis, much cheaper and better in the long run. get something with no drivetrain, interior, or anything.

much cheaper and better in the long run

oh and welcome to the boards

i know this topic is is a month old but i just have .02$ to add. i had a 85 berlinetta that i got with a crack frame near the steering box. i had it welded 5 times until i finaly got rid of it. but it actualy worked out because the 92 is 10 times nicer with NO rust and NO cracks..(look in florida for these cars theres a ton of em sitting in j yards that are nice) i paid 400+shipping for mine it was well worth it.
