new pix of 4th gen seats, and correct console

i guess if you're really curious, you can dig up my old post on "not that anyone cares, but another 4th gen swap" or something close to that, and see the original pix, of the 98+ console mated to a 93-97 dash, and can see some of the inevitable problems, however, with a tad bit of time, and a little fabrication, things could have been "fixed" but until i can find a newer 98+ dash, this one's gonna have to stay, along w/ this center console.

I had posted once about the seats, they're from a 96 bird, and i've come to the conclusion that the car was either driven by a female or a small guy, because the bolsters are still in good condition as of now, and i'm going to do my best to keep them that way. Also got the door panels, but they're not mounted yet, and probably won't be till winter. Anyway, this'll give an idea to the setup, and i'll post a link to the old post so you can see the "not so pretty" mating of stuff.

the drivers seat, as you can tell hopefully, the bolster is still good for now but i'll be careful till i can find leather. And if the driver bolster looks good, as we all know, the rest of the seats probably look just as good, but normally better.

by the way, don't pay attention to the hooters shorts on the backseat...that's another post all together.

hey sellman, i'm working on it...just getting to posting them.

Final one for the nite is a pic of the overhead light. It was taken from a 4th gen car, where their overhead/dome light is located in the rear of the vehicle. Well, it normally shines into the cabin, however, shining it into the trunk seemed like a good idea for some reason. yeh, there wasn't much light back there, so, we modded it by triming it to fit a lil better (still needs some attention, but not much) and vwalla, instant light to the trunk.

the ole' seats that were in their were the vynal early 3rd gen maro ones. The fronts are ok, but nothing special. HOwever, the passenger seat was actually in pretty good condition, the drivers seat had a torn bolster on it. The rear seats were fine though, although in most previous pix i had 4th gen ebony leather in the rear, which is really nice, and is going to be sitting in storage till i can find the fronts to match.

If ur still interested in the 3rd gen ones, pm me, maybe we can chat about it.

Glad everyone likes the pics, needs carpet and doors to finish things and i'll post something of those when i finally get them on. Then finishing up the A-pillar mod should seal the deal.

Some matching 4th Gen door panels would go real nice with that dash, it it's possible

to L98 driver, yeh, i'm in the process of the door panels, and yes they are possible, i'd expect to see those during the new year. The door panels really aren't that hard to get in, i've mocked up one side with free time on the night of my dash fitting. But, making them look factory takes more work. There's normally a hole left in the back, and i'm in the process of coming up with ideas on how to eliminate that, and get a more "stock" appearing setup.
