I have those bars on my recaro seats. I have an 86 T/a, the seats were in it when i bought it. The "reclining " part actually slides out to extend the length of the seat. I dont see much use in it but it is cool and fun to show people

I have never seen or heard of Recaros being installed in IROCs, or any Camaro, from the factory!
The pull bar at the bottom of the seat is not a footrest.
It is the handle to pull out the section of the seat to fit you, the driverand/or passenger better. Extended out, it supports the bottom of your legs better, extending the lower seat out!

Just letting you know,

George

I have seen those in Irocs too. Not sure if they're recaro (doubt it) but they do have the extension.

If you have an 84, it's not an Iroc.

...I didn't see that car in person.

My buddy had a 91/92 vert Z28 with those, only in leather. It was actually kinda comfortable.

....the only "newer" steering wheel was the airbag steering wheel introduced on the '90 camaros.

....I don't know of another.

I just finished talking to the 2nd owner and he says the wheel is out of a 92 he didn't like the original.

I believe they are the "conteur" seats made by Lear Siegler.
