Need a response fast

How do you remove the auto shift **** i dont see any screw all i see is this thing that looks like a big staple sticking out the side of it please help

u need a small flat head screw driver and u need to pry that stpale looking thing out and then lift the shifter off

thx got it done i couldnt get it back in but it still works without it so what the hell eh? haha

Just push the **** on the shifter firmly and make sure that the keyway in it is lined up good then just slide that "U"-clip in.
