Well i dont know if you know this but that is actually part of the bosy panel on the fourth gens so cutting it off and splicing it onto a third gen would be rather difficult...anyways they make colored inserts for the fourth gens that go over that indentaion you pictured..you could just sick one of them on the rear of your thirdgen...classic industries being one company along with ebay and others

That section of the forth gen car is made from a composite plastic, which you would not be able to bold with the urethane bumper cover of a thirdgen. Also, the fourth gen part has a noticable contour not present on the thirdgen.

On another note, the font is wrong. Fourthgen cars have a different font on the "camaro" lettering than a thirdgen does. (Look at the "R" and the "M")Except for the 93-96 salad shooter wheel center caps, those used the thirdgen style font on the centers as they are the same center caps that were used on the 16" 91-92 camaro wheel. (think: leftovers) However, the newer style font is still on the rear of all fourth gen camaro cars, nice job GM...

Just a little bit of fbody trivia for thought.

I personally do not like to work on an engine halfway under the dash... I have an Aerostar for that

It's all about achieving a custom look. Some prefer the thirdgen body yet opt to upgrade to some of the modern amenities such as the fourthgen dash. Which makes sense, the thirdgen dash is remarkably spartan.

The third gen camaro font is awesome, but would i be able to make third gen decals from the bumber decal material, if so, what company
.
rolling-robert : Yes it could look pretty good in the centered, I was just thinking in terms of layout or style.

Gr89RS : Yes that is part of the panel, crap , didnt think of that.

ES87iroc : Yes i didnt even think about the plastic, An my mom even has a 93. HAHA and yes they do have the same centercaps

I did not necessarily mean the 4th gen font, i just wanted to raise the idea.

I am going to photoshop one onto the nose and post the pic here.

To get that embossed look it may be possible to some how heat up the bumper and make an impression with a large stamp... When it cooled you would have to make sure it did not try to go back to the original shape.

I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING A DONER BUMPER AND TRY IT ON THERE TO SEE HOW TO DO IT!!!

I bought my car with a camaro lettering sticker similar to the one on the black car in the link above. I took it off day one. It turns out the rear was color matched in a previous paint job. They cleared right over the sticker leaveing an embossed camaro lettering. Kinda looks cool cause you can only see it in certain lights and when the car is dirty.

I have a set of black chrome metal (brass) CAMARO letters that are made to fit the 4th gen rear bumper indentation. I think they are from RK Sport. They aren't on my car though, on my tool box. They would work or could be used as a stamp of some sort.

I think it would look cool if it was in the middle. Maybe someone will try to figure out a way to make it work.
