How to adjust windows

I am wondering if anyone here know of a tutorial online that tells and SHOWS (pictures) on exactly how to adjust the side windows?

The tutorial on your articles area doesn't show any pictures and are not the easier to understand without pictures showing what each instruction is referring to.

One of my windows goes to the top but is NOT QUITE aligned properly at the top (going over the lip of the weather striping rather than sliding under it.

Also, when I have the window go down a bit (power windows), the window glass rotates a tad and then comes straight down like it should. It should just come straight down with no rotation. Obviously the fulcrum (scissors) is not set correctly.

I went by the 1982-1992 Hayes repair book but apparently the 1992 has a BIT different places where the bolts are according to the pictures it shows. Come of the bolts are not even on my door so it's hard to follow instructions even with pictures when it says "loose bolt in XXX" and you look on the door there there is none.

Thanks.

The best way to understand it is to just look at it and figure out how everything works.

Before you do anything though, outline where are the original bolt positions are. That way if you mess it up more, you can always go back to the way it was before. Once you do some hands on with it you will understand pretty quick.

There are so many adjustments to these windows, that the only way is trial and error... Sit down when you've got a couple hours to kill on it , take the trim panel off, and go to town.
Throw trickle charger on the battery so you don't kill it, you'll be runnin the thing up and down a million times...
The saving grace is, you can almost guarantee a good seal.
If the window overlaps the lip then the stops are probably too high... and, or you need to take the tracks outboard, to bring the window in at the top... If one end starts to move before the other, then one stop is higher than the other allowing the window to continue on, on one end, while the other stops...

EDIT: Oh yeah, dont' forget about the fit of the little triangle filler, behind the mirror, piece.. It's vital to sealing these windows!!
