water seeping inside passenger area??

When it rains really hard water collects in the passenger side floor board in my 91 Camaro. I want to redo the interior but i need to address this problem first. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any help!

First I would check the door seal to see if it is in good order. Also check the window seal and see if the window is tight against it. These are just the basic things to check. If everything looks in order then the only way to really solve it is to lift up the carpet and dry the floor. Get inside with a torch and get someone to hose down the car. Check around the door and floor area to see can you see any trickle of water and where it's coming from.

Every car I have owned has leaked at some point or another and I solved it using the above method.

Torch = flashlight!

No the above method is the absolute best...

Car have T-tops? People constantly complain of the t-top leaking..esp on v-8 cars. The torque can twist the unibody and soe times cause leaks. Or if the car had its tops out alot the weather stripping could have been ripped of dried out. You can get some Black Magic thick silicone dressing and apply to weatherstripping to prolong its life or to help if its starting to dry out!
