does anyone have any good ideas on what i should do with the headlights?? i wanted to change them around a bit since i dont care for the way the stock lights look with the kit. wanted to try to do some thing that would be more flush with the body kit with fiberglass, if anyone knows anyone in the connecticut area that does custom work with fiberglass let me know...

Could you get some headlights to fit maybe out of the new sunfires or maybe a 300Z i dont think they have popups on the 90's style.

I NOTICE how u like took.. pics of sections.. i want to see what it looks like all around.. how it ties into the car.. to me it looks like its taking the sharpness out of the car... but i bet she stands out and looks crazy.. let me see more pics..from a distance
i hate how we can only post like 2-3 pics in our own threads.. i guess it has something to do with the sites compacity load?

the front makes it look like a probe or 300z....the exhaust would have to go. Not my cup of tea, but nice to see something different, where did you find the kit?

Definitely different. I like the front though, but the back is another story. Like many have said the exhaust is hideous and the back bumper just doesn't seem to flow well, I don't like all the openings it has. The paintjob looks good though and the hood too, a little too tall for my taste, but nice nonetheless. You just gotta get some rims and you're almost all set.
As for posting more than one picture. You can only post multiple pictures on a single post if they're hotlinked, otherwise if you're going to attach a picture to a post you can only have one per post and a total of three per thread. So you're actually violating TGO rules, but you didn't really know. To host pictures try something like Village Photos. Once your pictures are on there just copy the URL where the picture is on tht post using the IMG tag.
I also like the idea of Nissan 300ZX lights. There is a Star Trek Camaro that has them. They're not a simple bolt on so you'll have to maybe get the wiring harness or have someone that knows how to wire up stuff look at it. Here is a set up for auction on ebay.....300ZX Headlights

not bad, really have no probs w/ the front of the car, also have no probs with the sides. But the back is killin me, it's definately to, "curvey" for the car, doesn't seem to flow right. I'd like to see some pix of your car in better lighting and from better angles (aka, not straight on, like 3/4 views) The exhaust is a round peg in the square hole, which is never a good combo. Should buy some pipes that'll fill the void, or go the custom route and have tips made up in the shape of it. Would really help the rear, atleast, improve it. Rest of the car, nice...
ps-
get rid of those inky-winky little lights, and replace them w/ factory setups, it'd look better. If you're looking to "update" get the composite conversion, and run silverstars.

I see a noteworthy ride thats being show in pieces intentionally for the sake of those who would laugh first without seeing the bigger picture. I'd like to see the ride completed. Your obviously hiding full body images for the sake of grand standing. I think it will look interesting, possibly even bad ***. I won't judge before the cards are drawn. Carry on, hush the nay-sayers, amaze the critics, and overall enjoy it.

I like how looks once its painted, I'd like to see some more pictures of it. You could go with projector headlights off of a full size Chevy pickup. I agree with everyone else, the exhaust needs to be different.

ok guys sorry about the exhaust...yes its in the process of getting changed so no more laughing. its funny cause if your not careful you will trip over it it is the worst part of the car. i bought this edelbrock squared exhaust tip that i was going to but on the car but dont know if i am going to do duel 2-1/4 tips instead. i also dont like the back of the car either but it does stand out a bit. i also am going to be installing the zr1 taillight kit on it so hopefully with the coffee can muffler and the taillights changed will change the looks of the car from the rear. thanks for your input guys and i am going to be looking into the head light info a bit..thanks...i will also post different pics once i get the car running again. i agree the pictures suck as far as angles go...maybe thats why i am not a photographer

glad you are going to fix the exhaust. Interesting kit from what I have seen. Any info on what it is? Can't wait to see more photos with it painted in more angles. Esp with the hood closed.
I would say you could get sa cardoamin site an hot link from there, but they have been patchy as of late. Though you could set up a site and then just put a link to it! We could take a look see that way!

yea the guy that i called who sold the kit said that the pics of the car with the headlight covers are just pieces of lexan glass that you would need to cut yourself so i didnt want to go that route. i liked the star trek camaro with the 300zx headlights but i want to know how they did it before i go out and but a set cause they are very expense. i tried to email the guy but he never returned my emails thats if it is even the right guy that i am emailing

Heres what i would do with the exhaust get a slp quad exhaust like on the 2002 ss with the 4 tips in the middle. You might have to make the bumper a tad wider though.

Hey, if you guys really want to know about this kit, It is still available on the market. I was searching the net for Danko Camaro, and I happened upon this site. I was hoping to locate some of the cars/kits that I built about 10 years ago. I think if you guys could take yourselfs back to 1991 when this kit was released, you would appreciate it more. It was supposed to be more of what I thought the new 4th gen camaros should look like instead of a "modified look" kit. It was pretty succesful since I never spent a dime to market it. I still have the company and molds, but have moved into reproduction parts manufacturing. We have a website www.dankoreproductions.com We never went out of business, just moved on to making things people really needed. I have lots of pics of more cars and a few different designs. We sold about 20 kits worldwide thanks to a few free magazine articles in kit car illustrated, petersons kit car,and super chevy. Many of them were destroyed in crashes though.

wow.. talk about bringing a post back from the dead. I for one am happy that somebody is still selling a body kit for our cars, that doesn't completely look like a$$. I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but it is one way to easily get 11 and 12" rims on the car
#48
It looks like smokefans black danko is missing the front nose trim piece. I think that it should either all be blended in like the blue car, or should have all the trim pieces around the car. I still have the mold... maybe I could help him if he broke it.

are you talking about the bucket part of the front nose. i took it off because i wanted to try and graf something different with the headlights. kind of give it the 3000gt style to it. well that failed so i put the bucket back in the only thing i dont like is the headlights on it. do you have something different for it. let me know.

Maybe once I get settleed in the new place and get some of the other projects mobile I will got Camaro hunting so I can make a danko!
