Well my brother hit a deer in his 1984 TA and I noticed a crack on the cowl of the car on the passenger side just above the Heater blower motor. anyone else ever have this happen. if you jack the rear of the car up the gap closes so we are gonna do this and then I am gonna Welded it then weld a 1/8" plate over it.

And since the car is down for repair we are finally gonna weld the Spohn SFC in, and a 8 point Roll Bar and have a list of things like:
-Sheet Metal Dash Board
- Painless #10101 Fuse Block and Harness (12 circuit/GM column). I like all new wiring so I am total rewiring the car.
-Moroso Battery box& relocate to Rear
-Flamming River Cut off Switch
-Jegs Poly Race Seats
-Shave Gas door
-Smoot holes where the heater and Heater core Were

Yes it will take a little while but the main thing I am looking forward to is This: any body wana guess what else I am gonna Fab in for him? Well just incase someone isn't sure it will be a Jaz 12 gallon Fuel cell With sender

Would that firewall/cowl crack be something the a frame shop may need to look at?

Seems like the frame (for lack of a better word) needs to be straight before you weld up the crack.

Is this a street car or race only? I imagine it was a street car until the deer. What's its future?

Well I test fitted the frame connectors and they fit with no diffuculty and I had a aligment shop Check the front alligment and is was Fine, So I figure if it had messed with any of the subframe geometry that the SFC's and the alligment would of told me. Also this car will be a street Driveable Race car, for lack of a better word.

make sure you get the whole thing, if its closing like that it must go all the way to the edge under that sealer stuff... thats a crazy place to crack
make sure you drill out the edges of the crack too
