reverse gauge compatibility ???

Hey guys, I've seen on Procarparts the "PONTIAC FIREBIRD 82-89 TRANS AM 120MPH BLUE REVERSE GLOW GAUGES". Here's the link... http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...=onlinestoreDB
Question I have, is that I've got a 91 firebird and the gauges appear to be the same, but listed it says "82-89".
Will these fit, and is it a piece of cake or a pain in the a** to install ?
Thanx in advance

Nice find. I have a blue 91 Bird, too. White face wouldn't look good in my car in daylight, but those sure would! I'll bet the electronics are different, though.

I have the reverse glow gauges from procarparts on my 91 Camaro, and they work great and look even better... very easy to install.. If they look the same, they will work.. as far as I know, the size of the opening for the gauges for the 91 Firebird didn't change from 89 to 91, and, if they look the same (warnings in the same place, etc.) they should work.
I love mine, it was well worth the money.

the tach is wrong on those. the redline is 6k but the gauge goes to 8k on the 91 firebird. Also the oil pressure is 0, 40, 80 on the 91 firebird as well. I'm not sure but I dunno if the bolt holes are gonna line up either.

Too bad they don't make a 140mph/8k setup

EDIT: Err...they make a 140mph/6k setup
