2 5/8 gauges in a 2 1/16 pod

I want autometer pro-comp gauges for my car to match my tach but all the pillar pods for our cars are 2 1/16. Would they still fit if I modified the pods.

To tell you the truth, I doubt 2 5/8" gauges will even look good sitting in the piller molding. There just to big to go there I think. For the cost of the pro comp gauges, you better off just selling them and getting the correct size. that is unless you really like the bigger gauge. If so then how about putting them under the center vents above the radio? What gauges did you want to use.

I didn't buy them yet so I don't have to worry about selling them. I ended up just getting the super comps which are the correct size and they look fine. I'll take pics once its all done.
