anyone know if the SS hood will clear a HSR

I think I am getting rid my my 4" cowl hood. Its too big for the street and I am deciding over the stock 91z28 hood or a fiberglass SS hood. I would rather have the SS hood cuz of weight reduction. does anyone have one with a HSR and ES motor mounts? Id hate to buy one and find out it dont fit. I can deal with the stock hood not ditting cuz I can just cut some hood supports out underneath it.

pic below is not the hood I have now. that is a 2"

HSR should clear stock hoods. not by much but they do. With an SS hood you shouldn't have any problems.

cool, thanks for the heads up. Now I have to figure out which direction I want to go in with a different hood. I hate it when I cant make up my mind on things. Thats why my car never gets done

yea you defenitly will have room. if it were me id go ss. even though its a common hood swap its really not especially compared to the stock blister hood. IMO it does look right at home on a thirdgen too. ill have one if i dont go cowl. the stock blister hood does look incredible too and thats why its so hard to give it up.
