Has any one thought about taking the better looking z28 style lower side ground effects and putting them on a early model trans am......82-85...would it fit? i wonder what it would look like...any ideas or opinions?

It WAS 2 stock spoilers that were cut and fitted together to match the angle of the nose!
I say WAS because a roll of carpet on a dark street in the middle of the night took the thing out. Broke the passengerside so bad it was unfixable. Had planned on getting the OTP nose eventually, so we have not attempted a repair or a replacement. It never really fit the way I wanted it, so if I do it over, it will have some further modifications. The edges on the side never quite matched the angle of the bumper cover and it always bothered me!

I've recently thought about doing this on my 84 T/A. It looks like the 91/92 Z28 side pieces are the same height as the 82-84 T/A pieces. I'm gonna compare them next to eachother on my friends 91 RS this summer to see if the lines will match up well enough for my liking.

Hey zepher, what's goin' on with your ride??
Is it in mid-paint transformation... or are you goin' for that camoflaged look in case someone sees you railin' up and down the street...?
(Y'know the eye-witness givin' the cops the report will say "IT WAS RED" an' the other guy will say, "IT WAS BLACK"... an' the other guy will say...)
Sould be very nice when done... I usually don't like cross breeding but yours is tasteful.

It was eventually all black with an LT1 and 6 speed (note the first pic in this thread) , but lost motivation to finish it. I offered it to a friend of mine for $4750 and he bought it, we just put all the parts into the car and he trailered it away.
