Repairs to stolen 'maro

So, less than a month after getting my car back (after the repairs from my accident in June), it gets stolen.

No glass broken, not sure how the guy got in, but we all know that's not hard. He started it by breaking the column, but we all could have guessed that and I know it's not that big a deal.

Minor body work and paint touchups, no big deal.

Replacing the wheel he bent, no big deal, as I was already in the market for four new ones.

Replacing the dome light he busted out, no big deal. Repairing the gouge he made in one of my brand new sunvisors when he stashed his knife there... annoying, but I can still make it look alright.

Replacing the stereo he stole... ( ) ugh, but I can handle that, and there were no subs to steal. So ha. :lala:

My problem is in the way he got around my Auto-Lock--he cut my brake pedal off with a hacksaw . I haven't had a chance to look at it, but was wondering what kind of work I'm gonna be looking at with replacing it. I've removed the pedals from a 75 Blazer before and that was a matter of a couple of bolts--are thirdgens any harder?

It depends if you can remove just pedal lever, or if you need to remove support bracket too. Steering column dropped and brake booster nuts if you need to remove the bracket. I cant remember if there is enough room under dash to remove the pedal pin while it is still on car. Any way, if you are looking for a new pedal arm and bracket, got one for $5 (auto trans/ not include shipping).
