fender swap
i have an 88 firebird v6 and found an 83 trans am that i was thinking about taking the fenders from. i was wondering if the fenders will line up with my current body pieces, or would i have to change some of mine as well?

They should bolt right up. You are going to gain the air extractor fender vents that 82-90 Trans Ams had. There will be bolt holes for the lower wheel opening flares used on 82-84 Trans Ams. You can swap the 83 flares and air dam onto your '88 or weld the holes closed. If you chose to add the wheel flares also get the ones for the rear wheel wells so the car looks "balanced".

that's what i was planning on doing...taking as much as i can off of the t/a. i just needed to make sure that not only the holes line up, but also, the body pieces fit flush together. thanks for the info.
