I would try Goo Gone it's semi oil based but if you clean it with water afterwards it shouldn't be a problem. It's Good stuff i use it on all kinds of things. Just make sure to wash it with water afterwards or it may discolor the carpet if the octane booster hasn't already.

ok i got most of it out. what i did is i took a sponge soaked as much of it as i could. then i took windex and put it on a paper towel and washed it good. then i took some carpet/upholistery cleaner and foamed it up and washed it up with a sponge. it worked pretty good theres no stain and the smell is pretty much gone. as far as the cheap stuff what are u talkin about ok if its the cheap then whats the expensive?

the dale jr stuff is cheap- they just market it and then some of the cheap ones they put off road race formula- it only boosts octane .3 points not 3- if you want real boost in performance read this tech artical on gnttype.org- http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/misc/octanebooster.html i myself have used the cheap in the bottle outlaw stuff- the xylene and the mtbe- i like the mtbe and xylene the same they both work great when mixed right with 94 octane sunoco ultra- now if you buy those chemicals straight and mix them right- youll get a couple real points boost- mtbe and xylene are usualy mixed in with other chemicals to make your dale jr bottle- your paying 8$ to get 91 octane to 91.3- just go buy sunoco 94 and be done with it
