wat can i do to my sunvisors

wat can i do to my sunvisors

hey guys every time i hit a bump my visor comes down like an inch.its gets really annoying.is there anything i can do to fix this?

After I redid my headliner, I just left the sun visors off. I felt the one hour a day that they would actually block the sun didn't justify having them.

If you want to keep them though, I believe there is a screw on them that you can tighten to stop the visors from slowly falling down.

That is correct, there is one screw that is the fabric part you can tighten to correct this. I believe when you push the sun visor up against the headliner it should be facing the ground.

sometimes it becomes stripped. at which point you should track down one at your local yard and replace it the assembly itself.

The usual problem is that the bullet-shapped piece that inserts into the visor itself breaks loose from its housing (and swivels) and regardless of how much the screw is tightened, the visor will still flop.

i'll see if i tighten the bolt if not i'll find a nice good set at the junk yard
