passenger seat to driver?

Will the passenger seat bolt into the driver side while I am getting driver side fixed? The driver power seat mounting bracket broke so it would need to be the whole bracket and seat from the passenger side. I don't want to take it off to find out it won't. Thanks!

well as it turns out, it doesn't. these boards should be answered by people who know for sure, swapping a seat that doesn't fit out in the rain not my idea of fun or time well spent

Ive wondered the same thing, never tried but I always thought it wouldnt work because the lever mechanism will be in the way of the center console.

....some people should worry more about being smart by not swapping seats in the rain, rather than whine on a message board

All people on this board should remember that any advice given must be taken with a grain of salt.

I have bought pass. seats from the wreakers and made them work in drivers side. Tracks have to be changed, and the back. The bottom piece has holes drilled and tapped in both sides, you just have to pierce the fabric. (I've done this because the pass. side seats are usually in way better condition than the dr. side.)

But yes, it is not a direct bolt in, the handle for the back angle adjustment interferes with the center console (and seat belt loop thing on headrest is on wrong side)
