I know i want metallic to be my next thirdgen project but i dont know which color i want see some high res pics of your custom metallic thirdgens particullary ones with allot of flake in all colors,i wanna see the best,help me make my decision

it's gonna be hard to get metallic to show up on camera, but mines candy apple red from HOK with a base of gold metallic....in person the flakes are outstanding

 

Camaroguy18- Put the 18 or 20 inch IROC replicas, with the same paint scheme, and call it a day. That car is tight. I even approve of that hood

 

u can kinda see mine from the flash. Dark blue met with about 6oz of blue preal. Camaroguy that color is sweet looking . I hope one day i will have enuff cash to spray some hok on one of my cars .

Dark bright teal mettalic with bright silver mettallic ghost striping, again hard to show up on camera in person its freakin nuts.All shot ppg with ppg clear

 

damn guys those cars are pretty sick carzyhawaiin i love ur car that ornage/red color is awsome i really think i want to learn to paint cars for a living,but im an artist i love to draw em too so i dunno maybe i can start out in body prep?

thanks for the replies.......srdynamics1: Im not going with the IROCs only becuase they have a max width of 8"....but I have some Coddington Hotrods being made right now, I went with 18 but Im starting to think maybe I should have gone an inch bigger

sorry the quality isnt the greatest. It was painted before i got it, prolly about 5-7 years ago if i had to guess. Still looks pretty good. Some sort of metallic blue.

Unfortunatly I only have one pic of my car.........and its a polaroid.........I lost interest in it after about 60% painted and still in pieces and my parents house........but lowly getting back into the grove of things.......Need to get DL back.......its suspended untill 2009 but stay tune.......pics will be up eventually...I HOPE
