Trunk lock cylinder

Hey fellas, I'm working on my friend's 86 T/A (just bought it for $200). The car has no keys, I replaced the ign lock cylinder, and door lock cylinders, and was planning on re-keying the trunk lock. My 86 camaro has a metal spring clip, this one appears to be rivited in. Anybody have any experience with this. I dont mind grinding out the rivets and taking the whole assy out, but I don't want to take something out I shouldn't. Thanks!

there should be one of the slider locks on them to hold the lock in place, if there isnt one and you say that its rivetted in place, gotta get them out, its the only way
