Nice! Good job man, props to you. With such a nice interior setup I'm curious to what the outside of your car looks like too.

here is a pic of the nitrous pressure gauge in the passenger side center vent. had to do some cutting and holding my mouth right, but its in there. i just close the vent when its not in use.
shift light is done the same in the drivers side center vent.

i dont wanna ***** the thread out too bad, but here is my pride and joy. MSD box mounted on the backside of the glove box. i trimmed the tabs down a bit, so it opens as normal, you cant see a thing.
wiggle it a lil bit, and the ignition is accessible. coil is mounted inside too. under the hood is bare.

i did all the labor myself(thanks buddy and billy). i searched this site for most of the info, then took my imagination to make it fit me.
its not that hard, but with every dash swap it seems to never duplicate. there is always something different about every car, but the general idea is the same. i spent 2 months on the weekends fiddling with it. most of the time was just staring at it to get ideas.
id say it was worth it.
thanks everyone.

well, kinda.
power window switches are located in the ashtray.
i have my hatch pop and nitrous purge on a firebird convertible plate with traction control right now.(basically its 2 hatch pop switches you see in the pic)
they have been on the car, but now that i have the 4th gen dash to match the console, im going to relocate my hatch pop to the 4th gen location, and use the ASR switch for my nitrous purge(it works as a momentary switch if you only use the 2 wires on one side of the plug)
then ill just put the lil pocket back in front of the console.

Ok i got some questions im still thinking of this swap.1 What did you do for the a pilars. 2 Where did you get the dash cause i didnt want to get it from a place and not receive everything i needed. 3 Are those gta door panels. 4 Do you still have heat? 5 Do you have a write up or any tips you can give me?

1. i used the 4th gen a pillars. lil changing the shape with a dremel, and they fit pretty good. could be better, but better than nothing.
2. i won the dash itself off ebay. i picked up the wheel, cd player and all the trim goodies from a local junkyard.
3. gta door panels? you know it. i love um, but as soon as i get a set of black leather 4th gen panels, they are gone.
4. i HAD heat..... but i took it out. its florida, and it only gets cold once or twice around here.
5. ill try and help. i really dont have any write ups, but ive learned a lot more doing it on my own that just what i started out reading on the net. a lot of the info out there, but vauge. once you get started with it, you will see what i mean. your ideas will come to you, and things go real smooth. im the most impatiet person, and i didnt get mad but once. hahahah.
hit me an email if ya have any specific questions and ill do what i can.

Yeah, I would cruise up there but I am always working saturday nights and usually don't get off till close to 11 or 12. I went up there once and saw some awesome cars, maybe I'll see you there if I ever get to go.

the 90+ column is a direct bolt on.
i have an 88 so it was not.
my steering shaft is splined all the way around. an airbag column has a flat spot top and bottom to locate the wheel.
it only goes on one way because of the horn slot any-who.
just force it on till it feels like the splines are lined up, and tighten like hell with a 3/8 ratchet. the shaft is very soft, it goes on without a lot of fight.

yes. ill have more pics come the weekend. ive been working and havnet even bothered to look at the car, or charge the batteries for the camera.

car is a hardtop, and i used 4th gen hardtop pillars.
i dont see why a top car car cant use the 4th gen t top pillar.
takes some massaging, but i think i could make them work if i had a t top.

thanks for all the kind replies.
