dash pad question

........Are there any differences between an 82 z28 and an 85 z28 dash pad or are they exactly the same? Thanks.......Zapr.

They should all be the same. At least, thats what I thought/heard.

Transmission: 700R4

1982 through 1984 had a beaded "lip" on the edge of the dashpad, similar to the piping you'll find on the edges of older seats. 1985 and on had a smooth lip.

It's just a styling change, though, so I believe they're all interchangeable.

82-83 had the beaded lip, 84-92 are the same but they'll all fit. Just for info, the firebird dash, no matter what people have said WILL NOT work on the Camaro.
