out of about 10 firebirds ive only seen one with the solid back rear seat. The 50/50s arent rare at all

I got 50/50 in mine, I like them better than the whole folding back.
Not sure of how rare they might be but I don't see to many of them.

Not rare. I bet like the name, 50% of F-Bodys have them and 50% dont.

My friend's camaros have a split folding, and so did the car I parted out today. Mine isn't however.

I don't get what the advantage of the 50/50 split rear seat is in an f-body

i like it when im taking stuff home and i dont want the back of the seat smashing into my front seat. So i just put one half down and load the stuff on the other side. Works pretty good. Its pretty much just a preference of looks though.

If for some reason you have something to put on a flat surface yet you actually have 3 people in the car? *shrug*

well, i just thought because most of the Fbodies that i see have the solid rear. i guess it isnt too rare, but what about seats that just have "Camaro" embroidered on them?
