will a high rise wing line up on my trans am???

will the high rise wing fit on my 88 trans am??? I noticed they say it only fits a camaro but last i checked, trans am and camaro had the same rear end - hatch, rear qtr panels, etc. I understand i would have to probably make new holes and all but does this wing line up??? Has anyone done it before??? Pics???

it's been done several times on this board. The deck lid is identical on Camaros and Firebirds. The rear quarters are a little different though. The firebird's quater panels stick out further so the rear end is a bit wider. This means the bottom corners of the high-rise spoiler will be set in about 1" from the edge of the quarter panels... here, a picture is worth 1000 words:

the bolt holes arent going to line up , you will have to drill new ones. So take that into account .
