ta front end on formula question

I am really getting turned off by those silly bumperettes now that my car isn't black anymore. My question is can I use the front bumper of an 85-90 TA or an 82-84 TA and have it the same level with my side without the entire gfx package. Also with the 85-90 TA can I run the bumper without the driving lights and have it not look stupid. For the 82-84 TA why are most of them with the grills but on Dave84Fbird his are smoothed over was this an option or custom. Anybody that can help or post pics I appreciate it. I have an RA1 hood and 4thgen TA wing which front bumper would look best with my setup and for that matter what would look best for my back bumper.

i think the best front bumper would be one from an 82 ta with the solid pieces. The solid pieces are an option for the areo package i think . The others are just from other older ta's.Also if you switch the front you probabloy wanna switch the rear bumper too . but when you switch from 85-90 nose and bumper you also have to change the underbumper support from the 85-90 style to the 82-84 style .

I swapped mine with ones off my old 84 Bird, i never liked those black things and knew from the minute i bought it they were getting swapped off the car. anyway, the rear is just a straight bumper cover swap (with an 82-84 cover don't know about 91-92, but i'll find out this summer) the front i had to swap the reinforcement off the 84 (lucky for me the 84's was aluminum )
i then got some of the filler panels for a 84 T/A and filled in the trans am lettering on the driver side instead of the grills. anyway here's some pix

that front bumper is really clean. I just some of those fronts real cheap. If I were to get them do you think I could powdercoat them or would painting them to match be the best idea.
