I've used the Evercoat Metal-to-Metal. It works pretty good. It's great for area's like patch welds. Then I use regular filler over it to smooth things out as it is far easier to sand and shape. If you just have a couple of small imperfections then you really don't need it. If you have alot of areas that are beat metal and are worried about water exposure then it's a good way to go. The Evercoat stuff is more water resistent(sp) ,and more durable in thin layers. Here is a shot of some I used on my 81 T/A. What the pic's don't show is that I pulled the dents out with a stud puller. You want filler as thin as possible. Man that one had alot of hours in it to get it right.

This is the Metal-to-Metal
Be careful though, The stuff is ROCKHARD. try to shape it before it fully cures or use a file.
