Unfortunatly, They moved out like two or three weeks later and I never got the chance to get their name so I could sue them. So Now I had to go thru my insurance company and they gave me a check for $925 and said to take it to Macco. I have seen some of their work and it really was not that good. So I am looking for a good shop in the area.

One of my friends paints cars locally.
Right now, they are probably going to use my friends garage in Hampton as soon as we pull the motor out of the GTA and push the GTA outside.

Here are a couple of pics of my car,
before,

during and after,

So how much did your buddy charge? My paint is shot and it will need to be sanded and preped in a few spots then there is some fiberglass that will need to be fixed ( they cut deep scrapes into the right lower GFX on the bumper). TIA

Not sure what he charges since I didn't pay money for it, we did a trade. I gave him a set of Trickflow heads and he painted my 88 formula and gave me a 90 Formula.

If you come out to the hangout spot in Newport News on Friday or Saturday Night, look for me, I am usually near my car but you can ask anyone near my car where I am and they will point me out if I happen to be away from my car.
The hangout is on Jefferson Ave in front of Office Max (or Office Depot, I can't remember which store it is), there is a Target as well as Don Pablos restaurant there.

My friend Beau (who painted the car) is usually out there as well and he can give you an estimate based on the paint color/style chosen and body work involved.

White's out here in Suffolk does very nice work. The price will be a bit higher than Maaco but you get what you pay for.
