i have not tried the paint but i do recommend you call the guy before you order. I thought about bidding on some it that he had on ebay and called him up. Lets just say he did not have a very good attitude when it came to asking questions about it. Just remember you get what you pay for. Cheaper paint tends not to cover as well. For example, i have been using the nason paint and it took just about 2 gallons to cover the car in red when it should have only taken 1 gallon and maybe a quart. Looks great when it finally does cover though. I would recommend calling the guy first or going to your local paint shop and getting opinions on type of paint. If you want a long lasting shine and your not going to be waxing often, you should go with a base + clear setup

I have never used it. But it is a single stage paint like what they use to put on the cars in the 50's & 60's.

Not the base/clear that is used today.
