Interior is coming back to life!
Here is a shot of my interior a little after I got the 'ROC running, and what it looks like today. A complete 180* IMHO.

Now if I can only find a set of those Black deluxe '87 split rears, I'd have a complete interior, but I'm rockin' the no-back-seat right now

It's starting to look good. Good job on the seat covers, door panels, and steering wheel.

Looking much better! Might I also suggest removing the plastic trim on the sides of your seats and soaking in hot water/soap. This will remove the "mouse hair" texture on the plastic and leave you with clean, brand new looking plastic....

Looks very nice and clean, I just got my Firebird 2 weeks ago and know 1st hand how hard it is to get it as claen as you like it.
Good Job!
** Also you changed out yoru steering wheel, I want to do that same on my car. Do I have to be Mr.Goodwrench in order to do that or just a shade tree mechanic? How hard was it? lol
Thanks for your advice in advance

Thanks krayende for the tip, I will most definitely have to remove that "mouse hair" as you call it because it does irritate me slightly as well.
I have always loved the interior of a Thirdgen Camaro, but I REALLY love my interior now because it is different and it just makes a car that is already a joy to drive just that much funner (new word).
I think my favorite upgrade has been the factory CD player + adapter that made it install perfectly into my untouched wiring harness

Get yourself a nice Steering wheel puller and remove the big nut first and then you insert long bolts into your original steering wheel and pop it off with the puller, easy as pie.
Then, take your new wheel, and it should either come with hardware, or you will have to buy an installation kit (like my Grant for example).
Then you just put those two together and tighten up the big nut (making sure the wheel is on straight first) and you're good to go.
Or you can be like vindeezl (Mr. Goodwrench
) and rob an install kit from a junkyard car and trade some parts for a nice wheel and have the total cost around $0, more money for gas

Hit that shifter boot with some black shoe polish, cream polish is better than the hard stuff in the tin. Then buff it out with a brush. It'll look like new.

Thanks again for the compliments guys!
Plans are to fix those two minor things pointed out (shifter boot, "mouse hair"). Then I need to remove the blue KM/H off of my speedometer because I'm not in Canada, fix my gas gauge (drop the tank
) and then find those split rear seat tops that match and I'll have a complete / fully functional interior which is up to my standards.
Then I just need some bodywork, paint, a LT1 / T56 / 4.10 4th gen rear swap, and I might be out of $$$ for a while
